Ya know it seems Mike that you never have anything positive to say! For that matter you never have anything to add in general..... And what should one say when in fact one has nothing to say? Pay attention here as this is where it gets tricky ....."NOTHING"
UPDATE: Thanks to each of you for your feedback on this. Received this from John Wexler yesterday. Hello TJ, I have processed the coin that you submitted for attribution in a package postmarked October 26, 2016. The 1972 Kennedy half dollar is 1972 50¢ WDDO-001 which is already listed in my files. It is also listed in The Cherrypickers’ Guide to Rare Die Varieties where it is listed as FS-50-1972-101. Congratulations on the nice find. I plan to use it in my Varieties Notebook column in Coin World. Due to the high volume of recent incoming mail, it is scheduled to be illustrated in the February 20, 2017 installment of that column. If you should decide to send the coin to ANACS to be slabbed with the Wexler File number, be sure to include a copy of this letter along with the coin. Good luck with all of your collecting efforts. Sincerely, John A. Wexler
The FS-50-1972-101 is also listed in the CONECA Master Listings as the 1972 BS DDO-001. Larry Nienaber
