1984 doubled or deterioration Obverse

I can't tell if the ear is doubled or not and the beard as well. Here are pictures.

Hi Sheila, I can see only traits of doubling below the chin and the ear. Perhaps, a image with less zoom contributes to the observation.

 

I am waiting for my new magnifying glass to come in so I can get better pictures. I hope it gets here soon.

 

I would say it is not the big DDO for the 84, possibly a secondary one.

 

Yes, nice idea! besides the new magnifying glass and to have more visual perception of contours; the zoom, the ear, chin and beard must also figure in the same visual field. To the reliefs you can try to put less direct bright light. Good luck.
