    Hey Matt.

Welcome to the forum. Just a couple requests for you (this will help you later on, too):

    1) It's much easier for us to take a look at your coins and help diagnose varieties and errors if the photos are oriented normally.

    2) Sometimes, with imaging varieties like doubled dies, it's all about getting the lights in the right place. If we can't see anything, but you can, try moving the lights around.

    3) Try to get your photos as focused as possible.

    4) We usually like to see the entire coin (front and back). Knowing the date and denomination (yes, I can see it's a Washington quarter) and being able to see other diagnostics that might not be obvious to you (like a particular die scratch on the opposite side of what you're asking us to look at) might be the piece of information we need.

Right now, with the photo provided, I can see "something" - but without better photos it's going to be very difficult for us to tell you exactly what that something is.

    Hope that helps!

First @Matt Pearce welcome to the neighborhood!

It appears to be "flat and shelf-like" which is indicative of machine doubling rather than a doubled die.

Don't pay any attention to him. It's just that every time he gets into a prone position to view a rotated image, his dog pees on him.:yuck::yuck::yuck:
