I believe that we now need a 1794. This morning, daveydempsey posted a George Washington copper dated 1795. Who has something dated 1794? Edit to add: Larry please tell me more about the 1796 you just posted.
What are you guys going to do once you get to the 1500s and coins dont have dates no more and the best you can so is a few years time span. Do you end the game? Continue?
I don't think we should expect to go strictly year by year at some point. The posters of older coins and ancients probably will know the time era and be able to tell us. Just a suggestion.
The next thing I could post is 1791. After that I only have 2 or 3 left before I'll have to drop out.
Here be a couple of '93s. If I hit the lotto I'll get the 3rd sister, the Liberty Cap. The Flowing Hair has the Lettered Edge.
I've got some coins to contribute to this thread from each century. Perhaps we could do one Century per day until we get down to 600 B.C.? Until we have an instruction from Cartman, here is a gold Guinea dated 1788 from Great Britain. Many of these colonial era coins were harshly cleaned over the years. The man depicted the Guinea & on this 1787 coin used to own America (or something like that).
Germany 1773 1 Kreuzer: 1771 Mexico 8 Reales: (FWIW, this 8 Reales used to be in an NGC slab) It is nice to hold this piece of history in your hand. IMO, careful, professional handling will not damage it. Sweden 1761 1 Ore: Shall we post some 17th Century coins now?
