First Large Cent in my collection. Fits into the Small Date category. Guessing on a G4ish grade.




Second coin - 1909 S Barber Half Dollar with an inverted mint mark (FS501). What are your thoughts on the grade? Having a tough time deciding on a grade.

AG3- Braided Hair Lg. Cent
G4- Barber Half dollar
Nice decent starter coins.

 

I don't buy old coins.. I metal detect them!

I got this 1907 O Barber Half about 2 months ago..

 

The reverse in the Large Cent holds it back in grade but at least a G-4. The Barber Half is a G-4.

 

I like them, nice coins.
I think 4 is a good assessment for both.

 

This is how you know it was a really LOOOOONG week. I forgot that I had a second Braided Hair Large Cent that was supposed to arrive. Arrived today.... wow nice surprise after a long day at work.

Kind of tough to decide on a grade for the second coin.... what are your thoughts?
