What part of the country does the $2 get used?

I always ask for a few whenever I visit my favorite bank teller. I use them for the daily $2 bridge toll. Tried to buy a six-pack, but the clerk wouldn't accept them.

Two dollar bills ???? Any part of the country that has a horse racing track and a Two Dollar betting minimum.

I had a manager at KFC laugh as I handed her a $2 BILL, she said I was the funniest person all day trying to use fake money! I paid with a $20 and told her she was not smart and to educate herself....

I'm in LA and I'm the only one using 2s on a regular basis.

I used to fold 2s into origami peacocks for the... "performers"...

 

Wow, put them on ebay as "Treasury folding errors" and make a utube video

 

You should have insisted that she take the $2 note and hope that they called the cops to have you arrested.

I've always wanted this to happen to me. But somehow, although they do double takes, they always take my money, even when I try to mess with them severely by using 2s and halves...

 

I love $2 bills and during the year buy $1000 blocks of them, cull out the new ones that are mixed in with the used ones, return the used ones and spend the new ones for tips, small purchases, loading my Starbucks card, etc. Coming up on Christmas here in NC, Wells Fargo has their "Christmas order" where they order specifically new bills for people to buy and put in cards. This is when I order my complete banded packs of $2 bills. Normally it's 2-3 packs. This year I am going bigger and hoping to nab some packs of star notes. I am still surprised how many people, especially young ones, have either never seen one before or have to use the bill pen on them to make sure they are real.

 

Here in "Amishvilleland" (Lancaster County, PA) it seems that many people still purchase things with $2 bills, because the local banks I deal with constantly get them in (deposits from local businesses). They are VERY happy to get rid of the $2 bills when I come in and ask for them. I currently get my $2 bills from my bank's 3 local branches that I visit semi-regularly. Plus, my wife works at a different bank and they're saving them for me from 2 branches.
