Go back and watch your own video and then tell me it in no way impaired your driving. The evidence is right there, young man, but as usual you're so full of yourself you can't even take a sincere and respectful suggestion, even when made for your own safety and good.

What benefit did you get out of filming while driving? Anyone wanting to watch you open rolls for the umpteenth time isn't likely to care in the last about a moving background in your little driving scene.

Since you couldn't take the hint, do you have any idea how many kids your age, invincible young men, are permanently hurt or dead as the result of doing stupid needless little things while behind the wheel? Please, if you've been fortunate enough not to have experienced it in your own life with friends or loved ones, at least look into and read other's stories. When young I lost a close friend who was simply changing the radio station and took his eyes off the road for a second or two, just as you did to fidget with your camera. After languishing in the hospital for a week with severe head trauma, he passed at 18 years old. This was on a back road, with no other traffic to worry about, but still didn't matter. Think whatever makes you feel best or spin how you wish, but I'm not trying to micro manage your little videos, here or in any other thread, but only talk a little sense into someone who desperately needs it.

This is only the 2nd one I have watched all of. I think it's better than the last, but I still find it a little boring. I guess I'm just not a fan of watching coin roll searches. Would rather see just the highlights, but then more authenticity questions would rise up. My suggestion would be to just post these searches a little less often, and it might not be as upsetting to the C.T. regulars that may not appreciate the high volume of these videos. Keep on searching though. Good luck.

Im sorry to hear about your friend, and teenagers can be reckless, but I dont see your POV in that filming while driving is risky. It requires minimal attention, and btw i did it because it was the intro to the road trip photo shoot

Yes, trying to make a balance between video types, which parts did you not like?

I do appreciate that, thank you.

Even if you feel you have to film while driving, there are better ways to approach it. You already have to edit your film (yeah, I'm dating myself here, I know) so why not start the camera while stopped, then record your segment when up to speed if it can be done safely while NOT taking your eyes off the road to look into the camera, and when finished safely pull over to stop it. There... you can have your cake and eat it too.

I realize it was meant as an into, and can certainly see the point, but just be smart about it. Again, think what you will, but I'm not saying this to be mean or whatever else. You're behind the wheel of what amounts to a wrecking ball where even "minimal attention" taken away from operating it can literally make the difference between life and death. No matter how remote you feel the chances may be, it's just not worth it, especially when you have other just as easy options before you.

I am trying to see your point of view. I listen to all advice, but I am the one who makes the decision in the end. Thanks for your imput

That is appreciated, but advice regarding your videos is one thing while your safety and the safety of those around you, is a whole different ballgame. Just be smart for once, please. It is NOT simply your "decision" or right to risk lives and well-being of those sharing the road with you.

Driving while filming is no more dangerous than regular driving. I probably have less focus if i turn on the radio or looking at street signs for an exit.

nope...never read the rules. if I had I would I have asked for a link? then again... I don't ever conduct myself in a manner that might be disrespectful to others. I would think that most of the rules are basically common sense. ty for the info though.

Ok.. Time for me to give my 2 cents worth..
Your Vlog seems better than the Youtube videos. If you noticed some members had an issue with you having ads linked the videos. I just ignored the ads.
But.. I also agree with the recording of yourself while driving. Dude all you simply have to do is record as soon as you leave the bank or pull over. Is that so hard? This way you can avoid all the slack you have been getting.
I'm just trying to help so now I will just wait and see what you do.

depends on what state you live in. in mass a Bluetooth won't get you a ticket, but using a hand held device will. I wonder if they made laws like that because so many people with your thought process had so many accidents. the thing that gets me the most is the little old lady doing 10 mph under the speed limit with a dog sitting on their lap and hanging out the window.

It just seemed like it was too long. Why not just show your good finds and skip the videos, at least cut down on them. Just my thoughts. By the way, you seem very good at unpacking and repackaging those rolls.

And all the laws addressing distracted driving are for other people, right? Holding a phone to your ear can result in a ticket, but screwing around with and being sure to repeatedly look into a camera, well, that's kosher? Oy vey!

You ask for opinions and advice, and claim to take all under consideration, yet when it comes down to it, all goes in one ear and out the other. You're a lost cause...

If i listened to all "advice" here I would would not be sitting here today. When it comes down to it, we all make decisions for ourselves man

You're right, you wouldn't... Instead of the backlash over insisting on nonsense, and in this case utter stupidity, you'd likely be having a much more pleasant experience here. You also may have earned a little respect.

If you want to risk hurting yourself or ruining that car you're so proud of, fine... that's the decision you can make for yourself, but it's not your right to put others at risk over something so needlessly stupid, and that's all it is; stupid. Good luck, kid.

I would only like to apply, that even the cognitive side of your brain, which says "I am up for the challenge". Still cant over power the skills needed to stay out of an accident. They, call it an "accident" for a reason.
I hope you learn how to take some good still shots in your future, they are usually, a better representation of the numismatic quality of the Coin.
Good luck to you! And your future driving skills.
If you drive in the city! It's hard enough to defend yourself, from the folks multi tasking. Please don't be that guy, that injures my family!
