I can empathise with the problem you have with closing times. CNG is okay for me since they start at about 10pm my time, but almost all the European auctions (and most US ones) start way past my bedtime.

I picked up this one yesterday among the ex-Andrew McCabe RR coins that were auctioned off at CNG. Lost a few, but picked up several in the process. Too bad it is a bit off-center, but a nice coin nonetheless:

This is my first venture into RR coins, so it is nice to start off with several McCabe coins . Very pleased with the results.

Too bad I got interrupted when I was planning on bidding on several Georgian coins. I was at work during the bidding and hence couldn't place up bids on them . Lost every lot
