No/ far from it. I sent the man in Spain over 120K in butterflies this year/ I still have 450K sitting here in basement. I also got from Herr Hentzen a MS Vespasian Aureus/ and a beautifull 1488 dated Demi Noble from Brabant/ plus a MS Assam AV Mohur from 1819/ and a FDC Salzburg Dukat 1756.

Do you have to have special humidity controls and such? Aren’t butterfly specimens very delicate?

… and back to coins: do you have any aureii from the Boscoreale treasure?

Yes/ I store them in airconditioned basement/ keep humidity at perfect levels. Also have mothballs in every drawer to prevent museum pests from doing damage. No/ I have no aureii from that hoard. They all have that reddish tone.

Wow, @panzerman! Another beautiful and rare coin for your collection. It always astounds what you are able to find to add to it.
And I'm eagerly waiting to see the Assamese piece.

Very cool piece! I was watching one gold piece in yesterday's Heritage sale I figured you might have your eyes on. 1553 Scudo d'Or from Siena depicting a wolf nursing Romulus and Remus. My max was stomped about a day before went off.
