I received this coin in change. I was hoping that it was on a wrong planchet. Nut now I think it is a counterfeit. Any opinion is much appreciated. The side of the coin doesn't appear to have a copper look.
It seems very light. Funny thing some on stuck a 'MADE IN CHINA' sticker on it. Looking on the edge there is no copper color what-so-evert.
"Staind" is a rock band. Hard to get the reference when it's spelled wrong. I suspect the Made in China sticker was someone's idea of a joke or some sort of commentary. Looks like a usual cupholder quarter to me.
That's me Your coin is a real clad quarter. Coins can have an altered or nasty appearance due to exposure to urine, sweat, spit or feces. Many coins are just outright disgusting. Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling them!
It’s a real USA clad quarter. It’s been damaged, stained, abused and a number of other things. Just another spender.
