This also looks better in hand.
If you have a Drusus, any Drusus, feel free to post.

No, but I was watching "I Claudius" last night. Messed up family. Anyway, that is an awesome coin!

It is gorgeous. The portrait is much clearer. The "blemish" near the eye I think is dirt, but I am not going to clean it. I might get a more realistic portrait if I tilt it slightly.

I think it is an eye infection, you might want to take him to the Doctor... :D

YOURS is a VERY nice Drusus! It was hard for me to find mine for a "reasonable" price...

My Drusus... not nearly as gorgeous as yours! But, I have a slot filled!

That is lovely, Pish. Looks like it just came out of an ancient Roman's purse to pay for some eggs or meat.

One of my favorite coins of Augustus featuring Drusus and Tiberius:

    Augustus Denarius, Lugdunum (Lyon)
Ox: Bare head right; AVGVSTVS DIVI F around
Rx: IMP X; Tiberius and Drusus presenting laurel branches to Augustus

"This coin, evidently of Asia Minor, but particularly of that part situated about the Maeander and Hermus, is probably of a place called Characa, mentioned by Strabo as situated on the road from Tralles to Nysa, and at equall distances. Stephanus speaks also of a city of Charax in Lydia, which he identifies with Tralles." J. Millingen, Sylloge of Ancient Unedited Coins of Greek Cities and Kings ... 1837, p. 79 (pl. 4, 56 (*).

A beautiful coin, Pish. Just how I like them.

My only coin that features Drusus is this Nero and Drusus, (on horseback) issued under Caligula.

I like your Drusus, Pishpash. It has the patina I like, tan and green, and it is nicely centered (unlike mine...). Congratulations!
