Would you keep these die clashes?

    Two Lincoln clashes

    1) 1972-D with a light clash mark from the base of the Lincoln Memorial the field next to Lincoln’s head. I dont think this is worth keeping.

    2) 1970-D with what I think shows some light clash marks of the Memorial columns to the left of Lincoln’s portrait and above LIBERTY (or they’re just some deceptive die scratches). I found this one metal detecting recently. Must not have been in the ground very long.

So, what would YOU do? Keep em or spend em? Also, what are your thoughts on the second coin? True clashing or just some die scratches?

I mean they are very minor if I may say so. Like my wife always says when I find minor stuff, " Spend, spend, spend!"

Since you found it and it’s in decent shape along with no signs of ED that I can see, I’d be inclined to add it to my collection. It is faint but that’s usually means the clash is wearing out due to the number of coins struck after the clash occurred. Not all clashes are strong but I’m keep it.

Doesn't cost much to keep them but I'd probably spend. They would go in a box and I'd never look at them again anyway.
