This is one of those issues of Pergamon that don't bear the city name. To answer the OP question - no, it's not rare. https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=254983
Interesting coin for the right low price. I see quite a few of similar 'varieties' like this on FORVM free auctions. Do you purchase these from 'dealers' or are these coins you discover with a metal detector??
Mikey Zee, have you seen such a coin on which the auction? In my opinion this is a rare coin and Magistrate on Junk rare or am I wrong? No, I do not, unfortunately, not looking for coins metal detector and no do not buy from dealers. I buy from a friend of the host second-hand antic shop, which brings these coins from the dead collectors and collections which are aged 50, 60, 80 or more years. These coins were found and brought to Europe over 100 years ago. Among these coins it is sometimes rare and sometimes unique specimens.
@paschka, I was just wondering why they always seem to be unattributed not that they were valueless. Zumbly provided a link to a recent CNG auction and the same coin appears to have sold for $100 in higher grade so like all ancients that are a bit scarce not all are rare in a value oriented manner, yet still very collectible for hobbyists like us
