Wow! That's a nice spiked head! What's the year? Check out this link. See if you can find one like yours. If not, it could be a new listing! http://cuds-on-coins.com/u-s-coins-with-spike-head/
I know. It's all crap! But interesting anomalies nonetheless. Here's a link to the spiked head 94's. http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-spike-heads-1990-1999/
you have inspired me to get some dime rolls tomorrow to search for silver. I used to do it and found some here and there.
' Don't wast youre time!! I searched hundreds of Dime rolls and never found crap!! I find the most good coins from cent rolls and nickle rolls - remember we are in 2016 NOT 1965 - Face it - everything good is mostly picked over - Unless of course Silver searcher tells you he's 38 and finds all this - He should be searching for a woman at the bar instead of lying to us - Although - (finish the sentence on your own)
You just had to tease me again with those beautiful insulators! Nice finds! Is "Bob" bedding down for the winter or still raising hell?
No, Bob - is still getting his but kicked by me for messing with my Little runners - And Radio Strain Insulators? I have a full box of them in different colours - mostly clear but I have blue , yellow, and red - NOT colorized - but actual glass-
I don't know but you're probably right. I've heard some say; location, location, location. @spirityoda seems to be out in the middle of nowhere and not to far from Vegas. Who knows, maybe some gambling addict stole his grandmother silver coin roll collection and dumped them into a casino out there.
Gorgeous! There was an old Trolley Line that ran down here from Gt. Barrington, Ma. to Sheffield, Ma. It was a short run of about 6 miles and some of the pylons are still there but are in marshy area but can be accessed from the R.R. tracks. One of these days I'm going to get there because I'm pretty sure no one else would want to go mudding around the area. R.R. spikes & connector plates are everywhere down my way. Try carrying a 5 gallon pail of those. I had to empty half out and come back for the rest another day. This old grey goose ain't what he used to be...
Damn, Tommy - don't get sucked into the muck!! I go rock hunting on the Vermillion river and can barley carry the 5 Gallon bucket -!!
it was not a waste of time. I would find a few in a short period of time. I like the thrill of the hunt. my ex-girlfriend would look threw $25 box of cents for Wheaties. I would search for dimes. I'll never forget finding my first merc dime. that was awesome.
I really did too but then the Gal I was chasing turned the tables on me and now I'm an old married fart!!
I would think that it's all dried up too, but you could find 1-2 in a $250 box sometimes. at least 1 in 1 box. been watching the 50 cent coin roll hunters videos. they get mostly 40%'ers. still fun to see the silver coins edge in the rolls. gonna search some tomorrow. $80.00 worth.
