Wow! Who wouldn't want to pay $100 for a poorly handled $1 coin? I think I'll go fingerprint all my coins and sell them at redicilous prices!

I found this so amusing that I emailed the seller with this message.

"You have GOT TO BE KIDDING HERE!

Anyone can fingerprint a coin and even if it WAS done at the mint who are the well known, franchise mint employees?

Can you name anyone that works at the mint that is famous?

I wonder who's fingerprints they are? Could it be John Adams?"

Next week I'm selling "marked" toilet paper. Who's butt did this wipe? I've never seen streaks like this!

Sorry if I'm getting too graphic but this auction, is after all, a bunch of.....well you know.

Ditto on the ROTFL! Question: What do get for a rare Mint Employee Butt print on a John Adams Dollar? Answer: You get a Butt Headed bidder!

I got a response to my question!

Wow! This is a quality seller! Here's the response.

    "
Thank you for your rude comments. I hope you feel good about yourself wasting other people's valuable time with your useless speech. Shows what kind of person you are.

Look forward to blocking you as a bidder.

    Have a great day. :) :) :) :) "

Like I would actually bid on any of this stuff?

My response to the seller's response

I gotta stop quoting myself but thought you all might enjoy my response to the sellers response. Here we go!

    "Thanks for your prompt response!

Rude comments? I prefer to go with honest. You should try this in the future.
I feel very good about myself. Thank you for your concern.
Wasting other peoples time? I CHOSE to waste mine you obiously CHOSE to waste yours. Guess that makes two of us. Can you name any others?
Useless speech? You responded and as I type this many others are enjoying my useless speech.
What kind of person am I? Pretty darn wonderful and complex. You wouldn't unnderstand that.
Blocking me as a bidder? Don't waste your VALUABLE time. I will never bother to bid on your stuff. May look at it for a good laugh though.
Most of all I wish you a fantabulous, super duper, ultra wonderful and spiffaric day!

I bought a "smooth edge" JA $ with similar markings on obverse and reverse. The markings on my coin appeared in the fields only, not on any of the relief. You have to have very small fingers to do that. I got my coin from a very reputable dealer in MI. It presently is in the hands of a third party grading company. If they shed any light on the situation, I will post.

Take a look at his finished auctions, hopefully he is spending more on listing fees than he is making on these ridiculous sales.
