Is there a market for sewn bank bags of quarters dollars and halves?

I just purchased a huge estate collection that has roughly $3000 worth of statehood/parks/sacajawea coins in sewn bank bags ($25/$50/$100). I don’t collect such things so I’m tempted to just take them to the bank for exchange. I see a small premium for the quarter bags on eBay but not sure it’s worth the time and trouble. I’d love to know if there are any desirable bags in particular or if there is a general interest from the coin roll hunting crowd. Thanks!

To the right person, there will be interest in anything. Bank bags tend to be quite large, and some people may be interested in them because they have nearly unlimited uses. Old bank bags that used to hold silver dollars can go for a few dollars, but newer ones can go for some good money as well. Like I said, these things have all kinds of uses, so I think you would be good on that one. ;)

I should have been more clear…these bags are still full of coins.

I be interested in the Kennedy 2001 P & D mint bags. The two mint mark bags issued post 2001 in the 2007 2008 time frame.

List what you have and price on the BST. Lots of
    collectors here.

I decided to just turn them all in At the bank. There was a ton of them and the thin margins made it not worthwhile to piece them out. Thanks for the input though?

Oh man, I’d have bought them. Yes, there’s a market. Just hard to find.
