I have a few Buffalo Nickels. But have no 1920-1929’s. What’s up with that. I wouldn’t mind seeing a few in real life (kinda). I do have a 1930

If you ever see a 1922...don't pay more than a nickel for it.

It was difficult to find them in the 50's. The dates wore off so fast.

Most are dateless thanks to the design. Probably more so than the teens, because people might have saved the "new" nickels, but by the 20's they were just another coin.

They're out there at a reasonable price.

The dates did wear off fast, but I do not think they are that uncommon. Most of the coin shops I have been in have a container of buffalo nickels sitting around that you can pick through for anywhere from $1 each to $2 each. That is where most of mine came from, not even nic-a-dated. I even found a decent 1916 D buffalo. My collection is all in a jar, so maybe not worth picturing. I decided to collect them loosely and then when my son gets old enough, get a book and have fun looking through them (he just turned four). I have well over a thousand at this point..... I paid less than fifty cents each on the majority. I have never paid more than $2 for one. None are greater than XF. I think @green18 has great advice: "Seek and ye shall find......."

There are plenty out there, Cheech. If I see one in my stash, I'll save it for you.

The twenties are probably the tough of the Buffalos to find. Best wishes.

Best I can do is my Mint bag that held $50 worth of 1926 P Buffalo Nickels. I think Buffalo nickel bags are much harder to find than the nickels themselves.
