    Hello everyone,
I posted awhile back on this site about a box of Kennedy Half's I bought at my bank, I mentioned when I went to the bank I asked the cashier for a couple of rolls of half dollars. Teller mentioned a man who owned a business turned in a box of half dollars which he had in a safe for over fifteen years, so I bought the box and found lots of silver and one crazy brown Kennedy Half which I weighed several times because the weight was 9.0 grams and Kennedy face is deformed. Anyway I was more excited that I found a toned coin which are my favorite coins to find.

    Just wanted to share

Cool, but doesn't it look a little unnatural or was cleaned at one time.

Not sure, I buy coins for my grandchildren when I can so I'm not an expert in coins. When I buy pennies, dimes, nickels etc... I look for colorful coins and I keep those, the rest go to the grandchildren.

Just beware of unnatural toning. Examples would be created in the oven, especially pennies. If they look like the colors in a Crayon box, then they mostly are unnatural.

I like to keep toned coins I find coin roll hunting as well, even if it is artificial...
