physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

They all look AU to me.

They are worth spot price, so you paid a fair value for them.

I'm just saying what I see in the pictures. Were you hoping for higher, or expecting lower?

The only one that may be UNC is the bottom row, 3rd from left. But the pictures are just out of focus enough that it is hard to tell. Given that the rest of them appear AU, I'm guessing that one is as well.

I'm not sure what sort of collection this was, but bank tellers often pull interesting things out of their till. That would imply that these had circulated, and so an AU grade should definitely not be unexpected.

You paid a teller spot price, at the bank? If so, it would against the law if the teller did this from the bank. Anywhere on the bank property (inside) as far as I know. If in the parking lot, probably okay. Otherwise they would most likely lose their job if someone found out.

By the way, keep an eye out for the one with accented hair, worth a bit more.

Sorry I did not answer the question as intended. You got a good deal at spot, but it's hard to grade these as pictured to give you a good idea what they are worth. First, you need to go through these to check for any errors, like die cracks and the mentioned accented hair variety. Then you have what's left over at probably around whatever the current rate for silver coins are. I have not checked the price lately but perhaps someone here can chime in. (Maybe 12/13 X face? )

I think you got a good deal. I was watching Tube videos on coin roll hunting last night on 50 cent rolls for finding silver ones. I used to search for silver dimes. gonna gets some dimes tomorrow. I miss the thrill of the hunt/find. it would be nice to stack some 1964 halves too.

At AU, they are worth exactly what you paid. Spot, which will fluctuate by the minute. Now, if there are any of the varieties among those, then those will have a slightly higher premium. Get a good loupe and check for the DDO's, TDO and QDO and any of the RPM on the '64-D's.
