I may do that, the other 2 Dime rolls had no silver though, so I don't know if there's any more. Its worth a shot, I'll head over there when they open

Thanks for the congratulations everyone! I did go back, different teller this time, she said they had no CWRs of dimes in any of the drawers. Next time I see the other teller there I'll inquire about it again.

I think in that situation you have to level with them. Show them the wrapper the silver was in. Say "hey I collect coins" and ask for amy denomination that the same customer brought in.

That's a good idea, it'll have to wait until Monday though. Darn banks and their automatic day off.

All due respect to Christopher Columbus but I believe America had been discovered multiple times over by the time he sailed on over here. Just sayin

Yeah... it's a nice perk... though during football season, I don't really visit there much on Sundays.

Sure, the Vikings and Chinese, for example, may have previously set foot in modern-day Canada or Greenland, etc. but one can argue that Columbus discovered the Americas for what was then present-day Europe and definitively put the New World on the map for all to become aware of and know about. It is through this lens and context he should be given some due credit.
