1962 Nickel - Slight double striking

    I can't see any doubling, but I can tell you that it doesn't have full steps.

    Regarding the profile, that is strike doubling.

    Yes, machine doubling. Very common. Good eye though! You're looking in the right place for the right things!

    I can see the doubling on some of the letters, but it is what they call machine doubling or MD. Yes, some of the steps are visible, but the maximum value is added if you can see what is called Full Steps or FS which means no breaks.
