    Look at the "mustcam". Don't go too powerful. Stay at 10X to 300X and 5 mega pixels. You can see the different ones online. They are great in my opinion. This is my setup.

    Got myself a used DEPSTECH Digital Microscope USB 2.0MP Video 1/1600X - it probably is an older version but it worked great with my MacBook.
