It's your coin---they stole the photos.
If it isn't that could be a twin to your coin that you posted a few months back.

Those are not Mike's pictures I have seen Mike's photography, he could give them a class on how to take a picture.

I do believe they are Mike's pictures Bruce - just run through picture software so they don't look as good.

    Here's the skinny...

The coin pictured is a coin I own and have in my posession (actually in my SDB). It was the subject of a "hone your grading skills" thread a while back, and it is not for sale.

The pictures, while resembling my own pictures, were not taken by me. They were taken by an acquaintance from another forum who goes by the handle Mgoodm3. As an aside and IMHO, while he uses a similar background, his photography skill far surpasses my own, so thanks for the compliment by comparison!!!

If you go to the auction now, you will notice two changes:

    1) The original pictures of my coin are no longer shown -- he's changed them. To more stolen photos (see below).

    2) The auction now has a highlighted phrase: "Picture is for display purposes." and "I am brokering this coin however it will be readily available when purchased." Implying the coin pictured IS NOT the coin you will receive, and the seller doesn't have the coin in-hand.

He has done similar things in a few of his other auctions -- using stolen pictures. My gut says this may be a hijacked account, but at a minimum it is copyright infringement, and has been reported to eBay as such.

The lesson to be learned: Be VERY VERY careful on eBay, and read the fine print....Mike

I just asked seller to send me pictures of ACTUAL coin being sold. I'll post them here if they come.

I agree that it is not your coin.
The mark in the field on the left obverse is not on your coin, However, PCGS will be very angry.
