    Here’s a 1837 Medium Letters Large Cent. It’s graded by PCGS as MS-64 Brown. Very attractive coin. There were 5,558,300 of all three varieties minted. This is now worth $550 in the Red Book for a grade lower. I paid less than half of that about 30 years ago. Another light reflection on the slab.

    So many have expectations of red color in UNC grades, but that coin is a beauty!
