A nice, MS65, 1974 25c missing reverse clad layer

    Not really. As stated before by another member, it's probably environmental exposure toning. Newbies make the mistake of assuming it's missing both clad layers all the time.

    There are actually clad coins with both layers missing. I know someone who owns a dime, quarter, and a clad half dollar. There is also a 40% silver half missing both layers
