I got some coins from littleton coin company. I noticed this Susan b has some rainbow coloring to it. Any thoughts about it? They want $7.50, but I don't need it for my collection.

I've got a 1979 Littleton mint set has all 3 mints SBA's. Looks a lot better than that I'll sell first $7 plus ship.

I love littleton folders and other coin storage items, I swear by them when it comes to that. But buying coins from them I'd be very wary.

I suggest not dealing with Littleton they tend to be pricy

I was thinking the same thing. Still curious about the slight rainbow discoloration I see, without drugs! Here is another pic which is easier to see the toning.

It is difficult to see, but in the correct light you can see a rainbow begining.

Let Littleton keep it. Don't get hung up buying on approval from anyone.

If you really want it, then get it! It's not the best deal, but don't let anybody tell you what you should or should not do with your own money.

But seriously, all of us here think that $7.50 is way too much.

Thanks, I guess I don't really want it. I don't collect specific toned coins, and I've got one that sets in my collection anyways. I appreciate all your inputs.

As others have said, that's way too much for that coin. You can by a '79 wide rim for less. Someone gave me one yesterday that they got in change at a rummage sale.
