Probably real. It's been altered with an obvious hole. No sense in weighing it

That would be a bit more than 5% light, right? That hole doesn't look quite that large -- but if it were a counterfeit from something other than gold, I'd expect it to be much lighter. Do the diameter and thickness check out?

I'm no expert on any non-US coinage, but I'd be looking for a jeweler with an XRF gun to check that one ASAP!

Oh yeah, whether this coin is real or not, @Amberlarry22 made out like a bandit.

 

Someone saw that hole and into the lot it went. Great pick!
