modern silver dollar commems in the $20 range

Anyone notice that you can pick up modern silver dollar commems for about $20? Some of these coins are good looking coins, I think I may start picking some of these up.

I like the ones from 1985. They are my favorite!! eehehe

 

They aren't half bad looking, but sometimes...I don't know the only one I really liked was the Washington 82 half.

 

The mintages were pretty high in the 1980s and both gold and silver commems sell for pretty low prices.

you can get them around $13.50 each against u.s.mint offered at $35.00 for unc and $39.00 for proof after initial offered at $33.00 for unc. and $35.00 for proof for few weeks. to get them, be sure to ask for complete box and certificate.

coin shops/shows even ebay (but not as often and you have to pay shipping). $20 is pretty common

 

the 1997-S jackie robinson proof is the only one I have... its a bit more expensive though at around $90...its supposed to be one of the lowest mintages of the modern commems it is pretty sweet.
