I recently purchased this unique mint error of Constantine I (the Great) which comes from a rare mint, Arles (Arelate). Authority: Constantine I (the Great) Denomination: AE Follis Mint: Arles (Arelate) (unknown but possibly 316-317 AD) Obverse: IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG, laureate, draped, cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right (double struck, offset mint error) Reverse: (SOL)I IN-VI-CTO COMITI, Sol, radiate, chlamys draped across left shoulder, standing left, raising right hand and holding globe in left hand (double struck, offset mint error) Mint Mark: (R) - S Exergue: unknown References: RIC VII Arelate - (unknown but possibly 108) Note: Based on the inscriptions, particularly the IN-"VI"-CTO inscription spacing on the reverse, the portraits, and the very uncommon S mint mark on the right field, I believe this may be a very rare RIC VII Arelate - 108. However thru my research I was unable to find a photo to compare it with.
