Ok, so I got boxes of halves 5 and 6 and $90 MWR. One of the boxes and all of the $90 are NR Strungs and Sons Rolls. Wonder if they are better than Loomis. I'll find out and report.

    9 MWR NR Strungs Halves: 1 90%
Box of Halves NR Strungs and Sons: 2 40%ers
    Box of Loomis Halves: 2 90%ers 11 40%ers

Second day and a row of a nice score. Very refreshing after the box dry spell I was going trough.

    It's String. Not strungs.

I could barely read it even with magnification.

I want to note that String & Sons makes the paper wrappers. Any supplier can use those.

    Two boxes halves: two-40% (1968-D); one 1987-D

    $15.00 Loose Halves: Nothing
    $50.00 CWR Halves: Nothing
    $150.00 MWR Halves: 1 40%er

Was going or teller trays and CWR, not much. Couldn't get any full Boxes today.

So far today I've looked through $200 of re-rolled Loomis... with another $260 sitting on my desk. They had the crimped side up when the teller opened the box or I would have probably passed on them. I'm not sure I can resist the temptation just to throw them back in the bucket and move on to my dimes and nickels.

Or he might not know about 40%ers. I had talked to a couple at my bank about what they were finding in rolls. They said they found alot from the 60s but none were silver... Sometimes people are just uneducated which is fine by me! So if I were you I would double check!

Been very busy this week... finally getting a chance to post my better finds... the 54-S nickel is fully lustrous (though you can't tell from the scan), but it is the typical weakly struck one you normally find for that year and mintmark... I'll try to take a better picture of it with my phone.

It sucks that we all know so many stories like this...

When my Grandpa passed away 17 years ago, his little stash of silver dimes went to me, since everyone knew I was the coin collector in the family.

That is just weird... thinking someone's collection got raided.

4 CWR of Nickels today yielded a 1936 Buffalo, a 1947, a 1948, and a 2009-P. All of lower quality, but great for just 4 rolls.

6 CWR of Dimes yielded a 2009-P, a couple of nice 2016-P's, and a 5 cent Cayman Island coin.

8 BWR of Quarters yielded nothing to talk about, though I did set aside a few new parks coins to check against my book.

15 CWR of small Dollars yielded about 20 nice looking presidents to check against my collection, plus (2) 2004-P, a 2005-P, a 2006-D, and a few nice looking Native American series coins to check against my collection. Oh and a pair of AU 1979-P, an AU 1979-D, (3) near AU 1979-S, a 1980-D, and a 1980-S.

The dollar rolls were short $2.25, as there were 3 quarters in lieu of dollars. :-/

Didn't fill any slots, but found some upgrades for sure!

Good on the Buffalo find... 2009-P nickels and dimes are EXTREMELY hard to find out here on the West coast, and those I do find tend to grade around XF most of the time, without any mint luster - especially the nickels. Finding a 2009-P nickel with even a little mint luster is quite the challenge.

I've sorta been trying to find you a really nice 2009-P, John, but haven't found a great one yet. Only have one superior quality 2009-P in my primary collection.

    Even here they aren't common.

I'm in Mass as well, I've found a few, but like you said ones in great condition are hard to find. All mine are about XF just like John. I've actually had more luck with 09P as opposed to 09D though, just found my first D about a week ago
