Now that I have posted all the coins I picked up at this year's FUN show I can show them in my favorite group shot. I bought a sweet Greek cup from Tom Cederlind's estate to carry them around in during the show: I was looking for Greeks but I also found some Roman Republican and Provincials I really liked. My wife hid my checkbook after this trip so I have not been getting many new coins. John
If you're planning on going to FUN next January in Ft. Lauderdale, you'd better leave your checkbook at home. The Seminole Hard Rock Casino is only 10 miles away. Chris
I plan on being there Saturday as Larry's ( @ldhair ) guest at the NGC Luncheon. I'm going to try to sell some stuff the rest of the day. Then, I'll make the 90 minute trip back to Ft. Myers. Chris
That's a great group and wonderful receptacle! I don't have any attractive "real" group shots, but here's a nice composite. I should update it since I've added many more coins deserving of being on the "cover" since making this collage.
Wow TIF, that is incredible. You have such an eye for outstanding coins. I like seeing them all together.
I have posted the major ones. Some cool unidentified provincial coins I still need to post once I figure out what they are. I like buying unidentified so I can actually use all the references I have.
Hey green-dawg => it's Canadian Thanksgiving long-weekend, my coin friend ... so I decided to light 'er up and fly our colours!! Cheers
So what ya cookin' Steve? I'm eatin' Pizza tonite. You gotta have something much more scrumptious in the oven.
