Just got this in the mail. Appears to be a VAM-9. It almost looks semi PL to me (but I'm far from an expert). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I made a couple of bids on this coin on E-Bay, but I stopped after it went passed what I wanted to pay, due to the pictures by the seller, which looked to me that there were some blemishes on the cheek. I couldn't tell if the marks were on the coin or the slab. Your pictures look a lot better is why I rated it a 66. Dave
So it was you bidding up my coin, lol! The sellers pic was not great. I took a stab because of the 30 day return policy and good feedback. Here's one more. Think it's worth a regrade? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, according to Coin World values (just using that for a quick check) the 1878 CC goes from $550 in 64 to $1,750 in 65.
Humm, maybe worth a shot. You can tell them only to grade if it's higher right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Recent sales for the same grade was $527 in April and 64 w/CAC $583.00 in Nov 2015. PCGS price guide at $600.
The cheek is not perfect but looks pretty good. I can try and take some better pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
