Was curious to know how many of you sell your finds. I just sold all my silver halves on Saturday. Blind luck that it was good timing to do so.
I sell all my 40%s, and keep some of the nicer 90%s. I have financed two trips to Disney for the family since 2011. The last two years my daughter has been playing competitive travel club Jr. USAV volleyball, club fees are crazy (wish I had thought of the business model). I've found enough since April to pay all this seasons fees. Those you know how many 40/90 I've found probably can calculate the club fees. I'm getting ready to sell, just waiting for the dead cat bounce back to around 18.75-19.00 per ounce.
I sell all 40%, and war nickels when I fill a roll. Keep all the 90%. Might sell some 90% Kennedys at some point.
I too sell my 40% and war nickels. This is how I buy my 90% junk silver and bullion 1 oz coins. I will only sell the 90% junk if need arises.
I sell interesting paper notes that I find - low serials, star bills, etc. In the past I've also re-rolled Bicentennial Kennedy halves and sold them by the roll for a small premium. Also had some success selling new uncirculated rolls when I get them.
