Hey all, I sure hope this is the right section to post in, I have a question about buying coins that doesn't fit in the normal purview of coin collection I think. I want to buy (essentially) bank rolls of specific foreign coins, for instance the British penny or Danish 1 krone coin. I don't care about minting year, or quality, I just need a bulk of foreign coins. I'm unsure if there even is a place to do this, all the local currency exchanges and banks only deal in paper money, and coin sellers sell a few rare coins or bulk mixed. Are there places that do this? Could I order from a foreign bank? Or do I have to find someone from said country and have them ship me the coins? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
You might try Black Mountain Coins or Joels Coins, both sell in bulk, but I'm not sure about specific countries and rolls.
I have bulk British coins running into thousands, and some bulk European stuff but the cost of shipping to USA would be more than the value.
