SILVER GREEK PHOENICIA REPLICA???"

    I've had this coin kicking around for a long time. I've always figured it was a fake. It is silver and about 25 mm in diameter. I would appreciate any info on it just so I know for sure what it is.

    Its supposed to be a shekel of Tyre, but yes, its a fake. Strange, the reverse is fairly well done, but the obverse is terrible. I wonder if two people made the dies.

    I was considering an Arabian imitation, but I'm not aware of any that look like it. I would have to agree it is a replica.

    Weight is a couple grams light. I'd say replica as well.

    That definitely has the strangest obverse I've ever seen....and that alone says FAKE to me.
