Okay since the United States Mint was coming out with the 2016 gold versions all of these f[IMG][IMG]amous iconic coins I felt it would also be a compliment to pick up a silver version so I picked up Daniel cars 2016 token version I think they are beautiful poems I understand they're just trade pieces and I know that they are coming but they are beautiful

Until I saw them, I had no interest. I think I might buy a set now. Thanks for sharing them!

What on earth give you that idea :joyful:

I opted to get the 1915 & 1922 sets from Dan when I met up with him in Colorado a few months ago. Not a big fan of the wide boarders on these but it is a trade-off that gives them the ability to have the 1916 date. I was however half tempted to get the antiqued version but they sold out before I decided and I'm not sure he's going to do more

Amazingly enough, most my local coin shops and dealers never heard of D.C.

I'm not surprised at that, they seem to stay in their own little world.

 That's not surprising. In my experience, many local coin dealers :bucktooth: have never heard of Coin World or Numismatic News either! :jawdrop::smuggrin:

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

I never have understood why just regular collectors go all gaga over the greysheet. Yeah, I've read a few over the years, but I can do my own math based on collector facing publications like the Red Book, NumiNews's Coin Market, NumisMedia's FMV, or Coin World trends, apply the appropriate percentages for the kind of piece I'm looking at, and arrive at my own bid prices. I find if I can grab a look at a greysheet a couple of times a year, that's enough for me.

I REPEAT: "In my experience, many local coin dealers :bucktooth: have never heard of Coin World or Numismatic News either!"

If it ain't in the Graysheet, many dealers will not know or have heard about it. That's what. ;)
