One of my unnatural desires :) has been for an ancient Celtic coin. This one "spoke" to me and I hope it isn't a lying fake...how say you?

If you look at their fixed priced list, at the very end there are a couple of Celtic coins that would cost about the same including shipping to the USA, in any case it costs you nothing to send an e-mail to liz@celticcoins.com and ask her if there are any Celtic coins available within your price range.

I see nothing wrong with it. Is there anything suspicious in hand?

Any idea of where this specific example is from? All it said was Gaul ("Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres")

Nice example and a good price.

This quinarius type is from the Aedui tribe in Gaul from the 1st Century BC.

At first the Aedui's supported Julius Caesar, then later supported Vercingetorix.

The Aedui tribe lived in the Burgandy region of France.

I talked with Liz when I bought my first Celtic coin with porvenance to the ground. She was helpful selecting the best coin and book for me.
She will be one of few ladies with a wolf tat.
