I did well but I want to know if I should save the Abe’s. Two W quarters 64 silver Cool Canada quarter Bent 2000 Abe and a nickel that was spooned. Split right down the middle of copper and nickel. But it won’t stand on edge. It’s the last picture. Got a S minted quarter too. I needed a fine like this. I’ve been Jonesin for a treat
The time to save coins is when they are brand new. Check the Abes…the “extra vdb” variety was found on the Philly cents for 2023. …imo…Spark
2 W mints and a silver. Along with a S quarter. And it’s not even my birthdays. I might even have room In my crazy centennial Canada book for the Canada quarter. I really like the 1999 2000 book
Nice finds! I'm dying to check out my wife's change purse. It weighs a ton! I told her that all she would have to do if someone tried to mug her. She could whack them with it... Question though. How did you miss the '64 Quarter? LOL.
…Sal, she didn’t miss the ‘64 quarter. She leaves it in her purse as bait next to the mousetrap! Word to the wise…you don’t mess with Texas and you don’t mess with Cheech! …Spark
The zincolns have such a short half-life I've started putting one or two brand new shiny ones in a flip every year. But them I'm a borderline hoarder, so there's that, too.
How many do you have? I personally limit myself to 4 a year, usually coinciding with the need for cherry cake with cherry icing. I try not to do it more than that, because people tend to be suspicious. I limit the guest list to persons that are economically well off, and that I know are scatterbrained and forgetful, and don't remember they already gave me free stuff. What method do you use?
