I don't know if anyone said this, as I didn't get past the OP, but to the OP, you do realize NGC doesn't guarantee authenticity on ancients?
Thanks, Swish! I realize that they don't actually authenticate ancients. They do however provide a product that has an authentic appearance to non-collectors. Since I give away many of my coins to folks in the hospital and who are going through tough times, they do the trick to minimize the "but how do you know it's real?" question. The coins have a far more uplifting effect if folks are convinced of their authenticity. I only submit coins to NGC for slabbing that I am already convinced are authentic so the slabbing is more for presentation purposes. I'm going to try my hand at slabbing some of them myself. I think it will be fun to make the labels etc. I'll let you know how they turn out or better still, I'll post some pictures.
Lordmarcovan, On a different subject—Your eclectic box of 20 is superb! The images of the coins floating on edge with the reflections is great. I'm thoroughly inspired! It makes me want to upgrade my computer with Adobe Suite so that I can do more presentation graphics with my Judaean coins.
