Hello my name is ashley. Today I received an order from an online estae order which included among other things 2 unopened bank sealed penny rolls. I absolutely LOVE roll searching, the pennies on both ends showed the reverse side and they were both gleaming shining. I was so excited to see what years they were I forgot to think about what I have heard others saying and I cracked that beautiful roll open. The ENTIRE ROLL was all 1979 uncirculated pennies. Beautiful babies they are. Now comes the part I still have not figured out, how to grade and sell coins. Where do I sale them. Not only that when I tried to research the coin it said they have never found any with doubling, am I looking at it wrong? Someone please teach me

Those are good photos Ashley, clear photos of the obverse and reverse are needed. Try for the clarity you took in the bottom photos, just full size.

Photos of the whole coin front and back are the only way to get a grade on a coin.
    Give it a try.

What I see from your pictures is that it is not a Doubled Die variety.

What you need to know is that you need to understand the difference between a true Doubled Die and worthless doubling such as Mechanical doubling and Die Deterioration doubling. It will take some time. So I will share a website that can explain it well.

Wexler's Coins and Die Varieties (doubleddie.com)

You just started so don't think you will be making money right away. Ebay and etsy list thousands of coins that are not what sellers say they are and are way overpriced! Don't allow those listings fool you!

Thank you! I don't expect to make money off them anytime soon lbs probably 5-10 years at least before anything I save is looked for or wanted. I have found a couple of BIE and even a 1998 wide AM. My youngest son is 5 and he goes through them weekly with me, it's our little hobby together and be calls it the coin game lol I really just love the time we get BUT..... if it could help pay for college 10 years from now that would be awesome

If you have anymore sites or advice I'd happily take them! Or I can send you my email if you'd prefer to send me links that way. I don't really know anyone that knows anything about coins but I'm eager to learn. Right now I'm just randomly searching Google and different places say different things, I don't know which is right
