What are these star notes and other special bills I have been hearing about?

How can I tell if mine are one?

next to the serial number this is a star that denotes that the bill was reprinted due to a mint printing error.

i agree.. that site does nothing to inform an individual as to what makes a note collectible. some of the sites listed in CoinLovers signature however, do have a wealth of info for anyone with a little time to read.

as in everything else however, each person will have a different take on the info provided - so i do not intend to deny Coinlovers claim to what he learned and where - i only offer i myself would not look there
