2007 W info?

so i know i could find this someplace else but could you like tell me anyway cause usmint site confusing

Are you talking gold or silver Eagle? The silver Eagle is available, the gold 1oz is sold out.

 

You can order it now. It's been out for a while already. Someone else can probably tell you the exact release date.

The 1oz gold PROOF is sold out in the single coin option but it is still available in the 4 coin set. The 2007 1oz unc with the W mint mark is currently still available.

 

The gold 1 oz sold out early this past week I think.

Way high. I think 250,000, if I am not mistaken, compared with millions of the non-W bullion silver eagles. The Mint has moved the release date of the platinum Ws several times and now just says June/July. My guess is that they won't be out in June.

If it's 250k, that's pretty low I think. Aren't the 2006W at about 470k (and currently selling for $100).

 

Here is what the US Mint has to say on their web site about the 2007 W.

"There is no mintage limit, and no order limit for the 2007 American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin."

 

Maybe so, as my memory on this is not always right. I don't think it'll have any real long term upside outside the MS70s that PCGS is planning to grade on these coins and I think there may be quite a few of those.

 

Griv - where did you find the 250,000 figure? I understood it was no mintage limit.

sales figure is over 300,000 right now. and it could go up to 600,000 - 700,000 when it closed.

 

The more 2007w coins minted, the more valuable the 2006w coins become.
