Lets see, hmm..., Indian Head cents (4 coins needed), Lincoln Head cents (1 coin needed), V-nickel, (3 coins needed), Capped Bust Halves (1807-1836 Complete), but need 339 varieties...
Do the Presidential coin covers count? I think they are very nice and for the price should be a fairly inexpensive set to complete.
I assume your talking grades, mine are all MS60 thru MS64 with the exception of 4 of the cc's. One of the cc's graded EF the other 3 are VF. How about you? "if the glass is half full you need a smaller glass."
He starts at 65 and goes up - way up. My Morgans only consist of a few left from what I pulled from circulation back in the 50's. Back then, I spent most of them.
So I see, MS69's geez, didn't know the grades went past MS67. I remember the 50's but don't ask me about the 60's (my lost decade) edited - gentlemen you are coming very close to breaking forum rules regarding offers to buy, sell or trade Again, thanks again for the help. "It's not how many breaths you take in life, it's how many moments leave you breathless".
If there was a rule broken it was by me and it was inadvertant.............I simply asked a question about his morgans, there was no offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flowing Hair, Draped Bust, and Capped Bust coins of all denominations. 1840's Seated Quarters and Halves. Looking for VG-AU grades for all these coins. Other than that, just coins I find here and there, whatever catches my eye.
US Mint- Mercury dime short set, War time Jefferson nickels, and 1940's Walking Liberty halfs World- German - mostly 3rd Reich Khorezm People's Soviet Republic (13 coins in all) -steve
I am a silver dollar collector. I collect Morgan dollars, some Peace dollars and modern commemorative dollars, and American silver eagles. I do not collect clad coinage.
Alright, here goes. US Large cents Seated Liberty Dimes Shield Nickels (sometimes) Buffalo nickels US Philippines (all of it, I'm ALMOST DONE!!!) Britain copper halfpennies to 1807 copper farthings to 1807 silver threepence 1834-1945 (halfway done) coinage of Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island Oh, did I mention I won't spend more than 20 dollars or so on any of these coins? Patience is a virtue.
I am just a Buffalo Nickel junky... Always working on sets, looking for deals, researching varieties, counterfeits, and errors in the Buffalo Nickel series... They are my passion... Ask my wife and she would say I love them Buffs more than her, but thats not quite true! -Daniel
Three complete sets of Peace Dollars MS64, MS65 and MS66. There are some peace dollar years that do not have MS66 so that set will have some gaps. I will surely be in the poor house when I get done and I am about a quarter of the way there. No pun intended. I will note that I am a lot more picky now after becoming a member of this foum. I do not just buy the slab anymore but still restrict my purchases to NGC and PCGS. What scares me to death more than anything else is after I go the great unknown is that my collection will be called an accumulation.
Treasurhunt, I will tell you a true story. A fellow shipmate named Barr was from northeran California. He said that he was hiking in the woods and found a double eagle laying on the top of a rock. It was circulated and only worth the metal value that he sold it for. Figure that one out.
