id also add that babies probably have the same ingrained personalities early on, so some are even worse to begin with but just arent able to show it yet. In other words, not all will learn or care to be good - ie, some are sociopathic and will remain so (theres no cure for this). Just my two cents

I think most of the scientific studies indicate that genetics can produce a predisposition towards characteristics that lead to such behavior, but that personality traits ( due to social environments and family ) can be the deciding factor , since the human brain is not fully connected and thus mature ( as it might get) until about 25.
