    I understand it to be a low-mintage year.

    That's a QUARTER DOLLAR, but still should fetch something in the vicinity of $400.

    Right you are sir. I watched the auction and this coin, with the addition of two morgan dollars and a dime (all 1890s) sold for £420 roughly.
