Well, it is that time of year. My lovely wife does allow me to have a portion for play money, so a lot of credit she should deserve. I decided on these lovelies:

My next set will be Morgan's. I feel like I have been looking at various grades to learn the nuances for the past couple of months and decided to purchase the first one for the set:

This is the last of my Walker key dates needed:

And just a general Walker I needed for the set:

I also caught up my Roosevelt collection since the last one I added was in 2015. (Blasphemous, right!?) They are still in the mail, but probably won't post many of them as I am probably one of few to enjoy them. Thanks for looking and feel free to post any of your tax rebate splurges.

Unfortunately, we spent ours on Bills and Home repair items. No coins.... 1532319-3e00c060fee1126062890dadf5456f8e.jpg

Since I have filed the first tax statement since retirement, I discovered how much of my taxes came from my (now missing) paycheck. I’m sorry to report my refund was a large negative number. :arghh:

Now that I have all the numbers in hand, though, I made adjustments so next year should be a lot better. Maybe there will be a coin at the end of the rainbow?

I e-filed for the first time in my life (well, pertaining to non-local taxes). I used an IRS-recommended firm (which a co-worker also uses), and it wasn't too bad. The federal was actually far less painful to do than the state.

I'm probably saving the vast majority of mine, putting it towards car insurance, the Adobe Audition bill (stinks that they force one to rent software), etc.

All great coins but that top one is the Holy Grail of all Morgans! (well, #2) That would definitely fill the hole in 99% of all Morgan collectors set albums! Congratulations!

    What's a tax refund?

Anyway, I just spent mine on a box of cereal.
