??Error coin?? 1977 Nickel Outter Rim

    Other than the wear and tear, I am wondering the coin terminology for this Nickel. All replies appreciated. Thanks!

    The correct terminology would be "heavily circulated nickel".

    Kinda interesting to see a modern nickel that worn, if not damaged I probably would keep it as an oddity.

    There's used, and then again there's abused. This poor thing looks to have been dragged behind a moving vehicle for a day or two. I once took a perfectly normal nickel and ran it in a rock tumbler for 24 hours and it didn't look as worn as this. It was kinda funky, but not like this.
