What do you think of this product for coin cleaning

    Would you use a 40% Phosphoric acid solution to spot clean your coins?

    Hello,

    Take a look please..It is a dental etching product of 40% phosphoric acid. Would any of you use this..EVER?

    Absolutely! I can't think of a better product for turning coins into culls.:rolleyes:

    I personally use nitric acid on all my coins followed by a 6 molar hydrocloric acid wash

    Make zure you put a nickel in with your pennies during the HCL soak, it speeds up the cleaning process.
