Shipping Presidential Proof Sets

I got mine today. Neat coins, but one has scratches and toning.

Mine arrived today. They look better than the circulated ones for sure. Not perfect but I'm happy with them.

 

I just checked my subscription. About a month or so ago, the mint sent me an email stating they'd be shipped in approx 4 weeks. Nothing yet. When I checked my subscription status today, it's saying that my order for a measly 3 sets has been cancelled. Huh? What's up with that?

 

I placed a subscription on february 15th and checked my subcriptions and they had all been removed. I called the Mint and they are going to have someone contact me but there is a problem. It might be worth a call if you cant find them under my subscriptions.

 

I received my sets on 7-05-07.

The mint states that there is a limited suppy. Is there a mintage limit??

Presidential Proof Sets

Just received my 5 sets today. Very Disappointed! Not one set has four coins that do not have toning, scratches, veining, even some have partial fingerprint. One of the Washingtons has a piece of cardboard inside the plastic, directly against the coin.:headbang: I'm sending these back. I'll just get some when the regular proof sets come out.

Same with my Mint subscriptions - I checked my account after reading your post, and sure enough, all my subscriptions were gone except 1 - for the Pres Dollar FD Covers.
I called the Mint, and was informed that there is a problem with the web site. :computer:
The customer rep checked for me, and all my subscriptions were still in the Mint database, they just weren't showing up on the web site.

The Presidential Proof sets are not sold out, as of now, per the Mint's site. My sets were shipped 07/01, and did not arrive yet.

 

I also put my order in as soon as they were taking subscriptions for them. Under "my subscriptions", everything EXCEPT one set of presidential proofs was gone. However, I just got an email stating my mint proof sets would be shipped in two weeks. Guess I'll give them a call and find out what's up. Glad to see I'm not the only one with the problem.

 

Mintage quantity

Does anyone know what the mintage quantity for these sets are? Is it 50,000??????

mintage for prez dollars set

it should be 400,000 to 500,000.

 

saw a post in another forum that states NN reports that 616,000 presidential proof sets have already been sold. If you consider the clad and silver proof sets that will come out this year (hopefully) then these proof sets will be a couple of million plus , I would think


Silver eagle 2007w sold 42,949 last week according to that article. Just thought I would add this last little part lol
