Yeah, bah humbug. Whoever sent me that 1911-D Quarter Eagle - it was only an MS64. Hardly worth the mint set of trade dollars I sent out!

Seriously, heck yeah!!! I'm in!!! Someone's getting a nice gift this year - whoever sent to me last year did me right! Time to pay it forward!

Great, it's nice to see that there's still interest. I'll get it going pretty soon; it's a bit early yet.

The rules will probably stay the same this year, but exceptions to the rules (particularly in the case of post count) when it comes to several good members that don't post very often, but have done the exchange for several years, and a couple of other exceptions. It's my goal to let everyone participate while keeping in mind that some come and go very quickly. I do my best to ensure that nobody gets stiffed, but inevitably and unfortunately it happens. Please don't let that discourage you, this has been quite a big of fun for several years running and I can't imagine a better group of members to do this with.

 

I haven't been as active here lately--other hobbies competing for my time--but I'd like to participate this year.

 

This thread was only intended to gauge interest in doing this again. I will be setting up the new thread in a couple of weeks. Some have already sent me messages wanting in. I'll try to remember, but it would be helpful if everyone waited to send me their details at that time. I'm just a bit too busy at work to get it all together at the moment. Sorry about the bold, just wanted to make sure that it stood out and potential members weren't included.

In the meantime, brag about your gifts from previous years to get the word out that it's coming up soon. I'd love to break the 100 member mark for the first time this year. Our previous best was 88 two years ago.
